My path to becoming a naturopathic doctor was an unconventional one and I am incredibly grateful to have found a career that encompasses empathy, compassion, and a comprehensive approach to healthcare. My medical career began after graduating from York House School in Vancouver. I studied medicine in Ireland at Trinity College Dublin which laid a strong foundation in my medical training. In addition, I completed global medical electives in Taiwan, USA, and Canada. My post-graduate training included specialties in Internal medicine, Family Medicine, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics surgery, and Plastics surgery.
Upon returning to Vancouver, I was introduced to a Naturopathic Doctor to address my health concerns: food intolerances, hives, and gut symptoms to name a few issues. My Naturopathic doctor demonstrated how natural medicine is able to stimulate the body’s innate healing process without harsh side effects compared to suppressive conventional pharmaceuticals. With a curiosity instilled by my Naturopathic Doctor, I further pursued my studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto.
By having a dual background in conventional and naturopathic medicine, you will receive treatments in a gentle healing manner within a harmonious safe environment from an expert who is able to bridge the gap between the two fields. You will experience an unique and powerful approach to healthcare and healing.
